Okurikomi (送リ込ミ)

A sequence of actions by a leading actor and an accompanying Kyōgen actor before they make their exit. During it, the Kyōgen actor stands behind the leading actor, shifting slowly as if helping the leading actor's movement to the curtain. The sequence is never performed by inexperienced actors. This is not only because it requires a high rank of actor, to match the leading actor, but also because the speech is difficult to control in time to the leading actor's movement and the different lengths of bridgeways. The sequence is found in "Tenko" and "Fujito," among others.
