One type of dance in Noh. After female spirits, fairies or other spirits dance the jonomai or nakanomai, Hanomai are added as a short dance to reflect a sense of elation. Daishōmono Hanomai danced with the flute, Kotsuzumi, ōtsuzumi include Nonomiya and Matsukaze, and taiko-mono hanomai include Hagoromo and Kochō.
