One type of dance in Noh. After female spirits, fairies or other spirits dance the jonomai or nakanomai, hanomai are added as a short dance to reflect a sense of elation. Daishōmono hanomai danced with the flute, kotsuzumi, ōtsuzumi include Nonomiya and Matsukaze, and taiko-mono hanomai include Hagoromo and Kochō.
