Aikyōgen refers to when kyōgenkata appear in Noh plays, and when a special performance that differs from the regular performance is performed it is known as kaeai. Kaeai include Onda in Kamo, Sarumuko in Arashiyama, Hashitataki in Rinzō, and Nasu in Yashima. Kaeai such as Onda, Sarumuko and Hachitataki are also performed as regular kyōgen plays. Nasu is also played independently as kyōgengatari.
