Kinin-guchi (貴人口)

A single door about 1.3 meter wide and 1.8 meter high. It is located at the left of the stage behind the chorus area, or to the right of the flute pillar in relation to the audience, but is difficult to spot at first glance. The door is not used today, and many theatres do not have it. It was originally introduced for high-ranking people to enter the stage while standing upright, without using the small side entrance.
