Hikazu Noh (日数能)

The continued performance of Noh over multiple days. In Shikisanban (Okina), there are different types of performance styles, including “first-day style,” “second-day style,” “third-day style,” and “fourth-day style,” and when Noh was performed as entertainment for the Edo Shogunate, the multiple-day performance style of Okina, Hikazu Noh, remained. Hikazu Noh performances are held today for special occasions such as stage-less performances or the presentation of stage names by the head of the school.
