A style of music in Kyōgen. At the finale, the leading actor jumps from side to side and to his front, lightly accompanied by flutes, then falls to one knee saying "ī yā" to close. Shagiri dome is performed to express happiness, cheer or settlement, which are all much valued by Kyōgen performers. It is mainly found in waki kyōgen (pieces expressing happiness) of older styles, such as "Sanbon bashira" and "Asō." The Ōkura school uses it more frequently than the Izumi school does.
