Rebuilt and reopened in September 1952, theYarai Noh Theater is owned by the Kanze Kyūkōkai. The theater hosts a wealth of performances, acting as the center of activity for Yoshiyukike Kanze and the Kanze Kyūkōkai. The kenjo (audience seating area) accommodates 300, and the rear areas of both the front seats (shōmen-seki) and side seats (waki-shōmen-seki) offer wonderful traditional Japanese floor-style seating. The Yarai Noh Theater is the second-oldest Noh Theater in Tokyo, and in 2011 became a registered tangible cultural asset (buildings).
