A type of kogaki (noting a special type of performance) in the Noh play Yashima. The play tells the story of the famous Genpei battle, when Yoshitsune accidentally drops his weak bow into the sea and must go to retrieve it to avoid facing dishonor in the presence of his enemies. The play includes a unique musical number, a chūkei fan used to represent the bow, and a form that depicts it being dropped into the sea. The kogaki that depicts Yoshitsune retrieving the bow is the shirahataraki, and when both kogaki are performed together, it is known as the daiji.
