Type of Noh costume. A kosode (a type of kimono) made of a dignified fabric (Shiro-neri) using refined white silk threads. The fabric has a beautiful lustre. Depending on the role, Shiro-neri and Shiro-aya may be used together, or they may include patterns with different lustres due to weaving in Shiro-neri. Used for roles of ordained men.
