A style of Noh. The movement differs slightly depending on the school. The performer turns once to the right, takes a few steps forward and points forward with the left hand in a large forward motion in front of the body, then moves the left foot forward and the left hand parallel to the front of the body. The actor then pulls the forward left foot far back and simultaneously points the right hand far forward to the front. The face may be turned sharply to the front when pointing forward (this action is called omote-wo-kiru). This movement is also used to point to an object ahead (such as a mountain range).
