One of the forms in Noh and kyōgen. After spinning and raising the body up rapidly, one knee is placed on the stage. This is a very difficult form requiring expert body control. It requires an even greater level of technique as the field of vision is restricted by a mask and while wearing a heavy costume. Some schools call this form either tobimawari or mawaritobi.
