Japan Nohgaku Organization. A general incorporated association consisting of members selected from active Noh performers. The members have reached specified standards (in terms of skills, years of experience, number of appearances, and so on) established by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and received general approval from the agency as skill holders for the valuable intangible cultural property "Noh". As a group of performers working at higher levels, they conduct projects that contribute to the popularization and development of Noh.
