A type of costume: an outer layer that covers the body for waterproofing, keeping out snow and cold. Among Mino, Hamino is a type of waistcoat, made specially with several layers of real bird feathers, used in the role of a hunter. It is worn, for example, by the Nochi-shite in “Uto”.
