Torimino (鳥蓑)

A type of costume: an outer layer that covers the body for waterproofing, keeping out snow and cold. Among mino, torimino is a type of waistcoat, made specially with several layers of real bird feathers, used in the role of a hunter. It is worn, for example, by the nochi-shite in “Uto”. Torimino is also called hamino.
